So it’s now 20 days past from that time which we all resolved would be the turning point for all the habits we want to coming true for us. Whereas I had never been an avid follower of the New Year Resolution fad, I did have a think about all the pending Must Do’s that I love writing so much. When? When I read an article about how to set goals and follow through.
So here I was, on my desk, with a fresh notepad and a new pen – all set to write the ohh..so efficient S.M.A.R.T goals. I had 4 of them. All of them detailfully S.M.A.R.T.
Goal – 1
We all have a mixed bag of a****les at work, but here are the major categories.
Jerk Type 1: The whinging whiny
This one will only whinge all..day…long about how much they have on their plates, how unfair it is for them to do all this work with no recognition, and how they are not looking for rewards but they would like to be acknowledged for it. They are the only ones who care and how it frustrated them to see others just not give a tiny rats ass about anything around. They are saying how awesome they are but in the tone they have mastered.
All they are asking is…..praise me, pity me, I am a saint.

I have been planning to write for a while now. When at work some 793 things cross my mind that i would like to write about. And the ideas are just flowing. I feel so super talented and so proud about being a woman to have the ability to think 5 things at the same time.
So after 2 hectic and frustrating days of work, I finally committed the crime of leaving work on time! Did all the leisurely things that i wanted to do – like having the time to visit a friend, watching TV, talking to my husband, checking my personal email (wow right), eating dinner on time, doing the dishes, doing the dishes, cleaning the kitchen – boy I ‘m on fire!! I even had the time (and energy) to do laundry!
I am so super charged to write, I take the list out to write – winters, bosses, medicines, sickies, shoes, Pinterest. Hmmm….. Continue reading
I love how Smilyes can add that emotional touch to rather a bland sounding sentence. it sends across the emotion that the writer wants you to read that in.
“Thank you” can sound as formal at the end of the email as the reader wants to take it.
“Thank you 🙂 ” can take it to a whole new level and make it a bit personable.
If I am in a bad mood / I am at cross with a person – I am not going to take any written text in the best way possible. A smiley though, makes a little bit of difference, if not a lot, to make me a little more relaxed.
And one of my colleagues is amazing at putting Smileys while thanking everyone, well she is great at thanking everyone too! She inserts such refreshing smileys and clip arts that it just makes your day. If you classify being professionalism as eliminating such girly stuff…well then what she does is not professional. But in this world of sharing a funny photo of your colleague to the entire workplace and piggy back riding your boss at a drunk party….the lines are sure smudging.
Omg! What the f**k is the problem with Airtel. Why would they cast such an ANNOYING model to promote their ad.
First they got her to tell everyone what airtel 4G does…..then they got her to meddle among people and challenge them ‘who can download faster’….. then she started talking up at random places on the PA systems and TELLING everyone about airtel 4G….. and now she is yapping about duniya(world) being gol(round) and not 4G….jo…..gol….nahi….hai…. (which…..is…..not……round……).
What the …………..??? Continue reading
